The Driving-Tests.org Library Partnership Incentive Award (Award) is open to all public, school and academic libraries in the 50 states and the District of Columbia. To be eligible to receive the $500 Award, you must be a public, school or academic library in the United States and include a link on your library website to our resources by September 1, 2017.
Entrants into the Incentive Program must meet the required criteria. Potential winners must be able to present proof of eligibility. Failure to provide proof may result in disqualification.
INCENTIVE AWARD PERIOD
The incentive program starts on May 1, 2017 and ends on August 31, 2017 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET.
HOW TO ENTER
To be entered into the drawing, you must register your library for our Library Partnership Program. The program offers Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) practice tests for car, motorcycle, and commercial vehicle driver’s licenses for your patrons. The program is free, ad-free, and registration free. To sign up, go to https://dto.typeform.com/to/VK8jBn. When you receive the program link, place it on your library website.
TO ENTER, COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING STEPS:
Step 1: Go to https://dto.typeform.com/to/VK8jBn and register your library.
Step 2: Place your branded library link sent from Driving-Tests.org on your library website for your patrons.
Step 3: Confirm by replying to the email. (We will also send you a password-protected link to track usage statistics.)
IF FEWER THAN FIVE (5) LIBRARIES REGISTER DURING THE INCENTIVE PERIOD, THE INCENTIVE PROGRAM SHALL TERMINATE IMMEDIATELY AND NO WINNERS WILL BE NAMED. Driving-Tests.org shall have no liability whatsoever (including any liability or obligation to award a prize) to any Entrant should the Award be terminated because of poor participation.
AWARD DETAILS AND CRITERIA
Five libraries will be chosen at random to receive the $500 Award. The winning libraries will be chosen from the list of libraries that have registered for the Driving-Tests.org Library Partnership Program between May 1, 2017 and September 1, 2017.
The winning entrants must be located in the 50 states or the District of Columbia and include the link from Driving-Tests.org on their library website.
WINNER NOTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION
The potential winning Entrants will be notified on or about September 31, 2017 via the phone number or email address provided during registration. The potential winning Entrants must provide to Driving-Tests.org within five (5) business days after the date of receipt or other date specified by Driving-Tests.org (i) the library address; and (ii) a location of the link on their website. If any potential winner (i) cannot be reached or does not respond to notification within forty-eight (48) hours, (ii) fails to return necessary information within the designated time period, or (iii) does not comply with these Official Rules, that potential winner may be disqualified in the sole discretion of Driving-Tests.org and forfeit the prize. If a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Driving-Tests.org will choose another Entrant at random. The potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized registrant.
Five (5) winning Entrants will receive a $500 Award each.
The incentive will be awarded in the form of a check. Winning Entrants hereby agree and acknowledge that Driving-Tests.org may be required to prepare an IRS Form 1099 for Entrants and supply such information to the local, state, and federal taxing agencies in accordance with all applicable laws. In the event of a waiver or forfeiture of a prize, Driving-Tests.org reserves the right to substitute another prize of equal or greater value as determined by Driving-Tests.org in its sole discretion. Driving-Tests.org reserves the right to increase prize value, in its sole discretion.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE
Driving-Tests.org is not responsible for the following: (i) technical problems or technical malfunction limitations of any Internet Service Provider (ISP), servers, hosts, or providers; (c) garbled, jumbled, or faulty data transmissions; (d) failure of any email transmissions to be sent or received; (e) any inability to upload or download any information in connection with the Award; (f) inaccessibility of the Website in whole or in part for any reason; (g) lost, late, delayed, corrupted, or intercepted registrations; (ii) unauthorized human or non-human intervention in the operation of the Award, including without limitation, unauthorized tampering, hacking, theft, viruses, bugs, or worms; (iii) destruction of any aspect of the Award, or loss, miscount, misdirection, or inaccessibility or unavailability of an account used in connection with the Award, including but not limited to undeliverable contact attempts that result from any form of active or passive email filtering or from insufficient space in the Entrant’s account to receive email; (iv) any typographical errors in the announcement of prizes or these Official Rules, or any inaccurate or incorrect data contained on the Website; and (v) any property damage or losses of any kind that may be sustained to the Entrants’ computer equipment resulting from participation in the Award, use of the Website, or the download of any information from the Website. BY ENTERING, EACH ENTRANT AGREES FOR ENTRANT AND ENTRANT’S HEIRS, EXECUTORS, AND ADMINISTRATORS TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS DRIVING-TESTS.ORG AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES AND THEIR RESPECTIVE AFFILIATES, PARTNERS, OWNERS, FRANCHISEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND EMPLOYEES FROM AND AGAINST ANY LIABILITY, CLAIM, OR CAUSE OF ACTION (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES), INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF PROPERTY, WHETHER CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE OR NOT, ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THE AWARD OR RECEIPT OR USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PORTION OF THE PRIZE, ENTRY, OR PARTICIPATION IN THE AWARD OR IN ANY AWARD OR PRIZE RELATED ACTIVITY, OR ANY ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE AWARD WEBSITE, OR ANY CLAIMS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION OR INVASION OF PRIVACY, OR MERCHANDISE DELIVERY.
Driving-Tests.org has the right but not the obligation to monitor or screen registrations if, for any reason, the Award is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Award. Driving-Tests.org reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, or terminate the Award or any portion thereof. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS INCENTIVE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY FRAUDULENT CLAIMS, MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, DRIVING-TESTS.ORG RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. Proof of making an entry will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Driving-Tests.org. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed, or like entry methods will void all entries affected by such methods and be deemed tampering. Entrants engaging in any of the foregoing activities may be disqualified. Failure of Driving-Tests.org to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. By participating, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Driving-Tests.org and judges and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Award or these Official Rules. Driving-Tests.org reserves the right to make changes or additions to these Official Rules or change the dates of the Award at any time.
CHOICE OF LAW
This Award is offered only in the United States and is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. By entering, Entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state, and local courts located in Maryland for the resolution of any disputes.
