Delaware CDL General Knowledge Test 10 2025

Perfect for first-time and renewal CDL/CLP applicants, and those adding endorsements.

Updated for December 2025, this Delaware General Knowledge practice test contains another 50 questions based on the official CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) manual. You can use this test to prepare for the General Knowledge portion of the DE CDL exam. These questions are multiple-choice, with three possible answers for each question. Only one of those answers is correct. If you’re not sure about the correct answer, you can use the hint provided for each question. Each hint points you to the correct answer without giving away the correct answer itself. This should allow you to make an informed decision about the correct answer, even if you don’t actually know it. There is no time limit for completing this practice test. Every time you answer a question, you’ll get immediate feedback with a detailed explanation, so you won’t need to wait until the end of the test to know the correct answers.

Best site For anything with wheels.
Driving-tests.org has been my go to site for all of my CDL test and I have passed the first time. I have used this site for my CDL class A permit, Tanker & Hazmat DMV exams. would not study anywhere else. I also used it to get my motorcycle endorsment.

I was the only one that passed the CDL out of 7 people.
I was the only one that passed the CDL A air brakes, general and combination test today out of 7 people. But I also passed the tanker and Double/triples test.I got 3 wrong. I credit this program to my success. I focused on the tests in the program. I loved the ability to flag 1 that I got right and could be grilled on it again plus having the ones I failed be put aside to do till I got then correct.

A much better way to learn.
Update: Took the exam. Passed the 1st time. 68 of 70 questions correct. This test prep works. I found absorbing the information in the CDL manual difficult. I could memorize the information but I wasn't learning how to apply it. It was like drinking from a fire hose. This format separates the signal from the noise. Now, I much better understand how to use and apply the information for both the CLP test and also as a professional driver. You still have to read the manual. This site helps you to learn what you're reading.

A must to save time and money!
Studied for about 20 hours on my own for about 4 days for the class A CDL permit test. I failed General Knowledge and Air brakes on Monday. Was pretty flustered since I studied for a week. Bought this program on Monday night and took the test again Wednesday morning and passed easily. Was surprised how many of the same worded questions that are on driving-tests.org were on the official dmv test. Looking forward to using this for my endorsements. With Covid 19 and the long wait times. This course is a must if you can't afford or have the time to waste going to the dmv multiple days to retake tests.
