Ah, the Peach State! Home of the Braves. Also known as the Empire State of the South. Georgia has a busy network of roads, from Atlanta traffic and Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport routes to Savannah, Augusta, Macon, college towns, church trips, school transportation networks, charter service, coastal travel, mountain routes, and regional trips throughout the Southeast, so you’ll find a lot of opportunities to transport passengers. If you have a commercial driver’s license (CDL) and plan to drive a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) designed to transport 16 or more occupants, including the driver, you’ll need the Passenger "P" endorsement. One of the requirements for obtaining the P endorsement is passing the Passenger Transport Test. You’ll also need to pass the Skills Test in a representative vehicle for the class you want to operate and an Air Brakes Knowledge Test if your CMV has air brakes (which most large buses do!). The good news is that our content experts have designed state-specific practice tests for both the endorsement and air brakes exams. Let’s start with the endorsement exam.
Our Georgia DDS CDL Passenger Endorsement Practice Tests present the tested material in the same multiple-choice structure as the official exam and help familiarize you with the sometimes-tricky wording you will face. Our interactive, AI-powered Challenge Bank™ remembers any questions you miss and repeats them until you answer them correctly. In short, our content experts have carefully crafted these exams to help ensure you pass your official exam on the first attempt. Once you’ve aced this practice test, try another: https://driving-tests.org/georgia/ga-cdl-passenger-vehicles-practice-test/.
You are expected to know how to inspect the vehicle, manage safe loading, keep aisles and stairwells clear, make sure seats and emergency exits are secure, follow carry-on baggage rules, understand hazardous materials restrictions, recognize the standee line, handle disruptive passengers, make smooth starts and stops, and use brake-door interlocks correctly. With so many expectations (and more), our Practice Tests help you focus your studies on the material that matters most.
The vehicle you use for the skills test matters too. If you test in a Class B passenger vehicle, you may be restricted from operating a Class A passenger bus. If you test in a Class C passenger vehicle, you may be restricted from operating Class A or B passenger buses. Do not assume the"P" endorsement covers every passenger-for-hire situation by itself.
Once you have a handle on this endorsement material, take the next step with our Georgia DDS CDL Air Brakes Practice Test: https://driving-tests.org/georgia/ga-cdl-air-brake-practice-test/.
