Free Kansas CDL Combination Practice Test 2025

Perfect for first-time and renewal CDL/CLP applicants, and those adding endorsements.

You’ll need a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to operate combination vehicles in Kansas. This license can be obtained by passing several theory and skills exams. Your knowledge of commercial driving theory will be evaluated through 50 multiple-choice questions on the official general knowledge exam. A minimum score of 80% is required to pass, leaving little room for error. Our Free Kansas CDL Permit Practice Test can help you prepare in advance. Train with this intuitive tool for several weeks and watch your knowledge and confidence gradually improve.

The second theory exam will evaluate your understanding of coupling mechanics, air braking systems in combination vehicles, pre-trip inspections specific to combination vehicles, and emergency situations. The official combination vehicles knowledge test consists of 20 questions based on Section 6 (Combination Vehicles) of the official Kansas Commercial Driver’s License Manual (Kansas CDL Handbook 2025). Our Free Kansas CDL Combination Practice Test is the solution to your study needs.

Updated for November 2025, this practice test can boost your learning potential. With unlimited attempts and nonstop access, you can train as often as your schedule allows. We recommend incorporating it into your daily study routine. Keep track of your scores and watch your performance improve over time. Once you consistently achieve scores over 90%, it clearly indicates that you’re ready to take the official combination vehicles knowledge test.

If you answer a question incorrectly, it will be automatically added to your personal Challenge Bank™. This section includes detailed explanations that help you learn from your mistakes. Practice with the questions you got wrong and answer them all correctly to remove them. Premium users can add any question to their Challenge Bank by clicking the bookmark icon in the top-right corner of the page.

You cannot proceed to behind-the-wheel training or skills testing without passing the official combination vehicles knowledge test. Train with this practice test consistently and build a strong foundation for your driving skills. On exam day, you’ll walk into the DMV location with confidence, ready to achieve a passing score on your first attempt.
