MS CDL Combination Vehicles Practice Test 3 2025

  • Perfect for first-time and renewal CDL/CLP applicants, and those adding endorsements.

Want to legally operate tractor-trailers and other combination vehicles in Mississippi? One of the requirements for obtaining a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is passing the Combination Vehicles Knowledge Test. According to the Mississippi CDL Manual, the Class A License authorizes drivers to operate combination vehicles with a gross combination weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 pounds or more, provided the towed unit exceeds 10,000 pounds.

Our expert-crafted Combination Vehicle Practice Tests are exactly what you need to pass the official Knowledge Test on your first attempt. But first, you should be aware of the other steps required. You must complete Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) through an FMCSA-approved provider. You must also pass the CDL General Knowledge Test, which will grant you a Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP). You’ll need to hold that for at least 14 days before scheduling your hands-on CDL skills test, which must be taken in a combination vehicle. Once all of these requirements are passed successfully and you ace your Combination Vehicles Knowledge Test using our practice materials, you will be the proud new holder of a Class A CDL license.

The Combination Vehicles Knowledge Test consists of 20 multiple-choice questions covering safe driving practices for combination vehicles, air brake operation in combination vehicles, coupling and uncoupling procedures, preventing skids and jackknives, and inspection procedures. You must correctly answer at least 16 questions (80%) to pass. If you fail, there is a minimum one-business-day waiting period and retest fee before trying again.

Our Free Mississippi CDL Combination Vehicles Practice Tests mimic the official state exam. They provide immediate feedback on all responses instead of waiting until the end to provide explanations. This method is scientifically proven to speed learning and retention. Check out another one here: https://driving-tests.org/mississippi/ms-cdl-combination-test/.
