NJ CDL General Knowledge Exam Simulator 2025
Passing the CDL General Knowledge (permit) test is one of the requirements for obtaining a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in New Jersey. Aspiring commercial drivers will have their knowledge evaluated at a MVC office, where they must answer 50 multiple-choice questions on pre-trip inspections, safe driving practices, emergency procedures, and traffic laws. All questions are based on the official MVC commercial driver license manual (New Jersey CDL Handbook 2025), which is a valuable resource covering the various aspects of commercial driving theory. We recommend reading its contents at least once, but you can adopt a smarter approach if you don’t like traditional study methods.
