Commercial Passenger Vehicle drivers must possess a ‘P’ endorsement on their North Carolina Class A, B, or C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Licenses are issued after applicants pass a written knowledge test and a road skills test operating a 16-occupant vehicle.
