If you’re aiming to operate combination vehicles in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, you’re about to join the ranks of those who keep freight, food, and fuel moving across the Keystone State. To do it legally, you’ll need a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), which means passing the Combination Vehicles Knowledge Test (and completing several other requirements) before you hit the open road. Our Pennsylvania CDL Combination Vehicles Practice Tests are the perfect tool to speed your learning process and help ensure you pass the official DOT test on your first attempt!
In addition to passing the official Combination Vehicles Test, you must complete Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) through an FMCSA-approved provider. You’ll also need to pass the CDL General Knowledge Test, obtain a Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP), hold it for a minimum of 14 days, and then pass a behind-the-wheel Skills Test. There is quite a bit to get done prior to licensure, but we promise, it’s well worth the effort.
The Combination Vehicles Knowledge Test includes 20 multiple-choice questions, and you’ll need to answer at least 16 correctly (80%) to pass. If you don’t pass on the first try, the DOT requires a minimum one-business-day wait before retesting, and a test fee applies for each new attempt. Our practice tests are your key to avoiding those hassles.
