RI CDL Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Marathon

Ready for a challenge? This Rhode Island CDL Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Marathon is a massive practice test that contains a mixture of all 190 questions that we have available for this RI endorsement. If you select a wrong answer, we’ll remember that question and will display it to you again at the very end of the Marathon until you’ve answered that question correctly. In other words, the Marathon will cycle through your missed questions until you answer each one correctly. You must make a 100% to pass. We suggest you attempt this one after you have practiced the state’s “regular” tests, but before the “Exam”. It might take some time, but you can do this!

Actual DMV permit test: What to expect?

The Rhode Island permit test has 30 questions. You must get 24 correct (80%) to pass.
  • Where: Any Rhode Island DMV office (find locations)
  • Bring: ID + SSN + residency proof + permit/license fee (see checklist)
  • If you fail: Retake after 8 days.

Pretty simple and straightforward.
Study at your own pace. Take the practice tests whenever you feel ready. Take them before you're ready and look up the material afterwards. I liked that any questions you missed are saved and you can take those questions over. I studied before signing up, so I only spent a few hours going over the syllabus and practice tests. The next day did all my missed questions and the big 150 question test and passed. Submitted that I was ready. The next day got an email saying my Hazmat ELDT was submitted to DMV. I went that day and passed my Hazmat test. Much easier than taking a 40hrs course.

I went to take the Hazmat test having….
I went to take the Hazmat test having used a free test answers question on the internet. I failed within the first 15 questions. Then I studied on this site throughout the weekend. Monday morning at 8am I took the test and passed it in less than 7 minutes. The questions and answers were almost identical. I can't thank this website enough for helping. I even learned many things about hazmat I was not aware of even though I've had my endorsement since 2010. All in all thank God for this website.
