TX CDL General Knowledge Exam Simulator 2024
The Texas DMV is not a place you want to visit on multiple occasions if you can help it. What you really want is to get in and out with your Texas Commercial Driver’s License. However if you do not pass the required General Knowledge exam, you’ll have to come back another day, and another, and another until you get a passing grade of at least 40 correct out of the 50 multiple-choice questions. You only have an hour and while that doesn’t sound so bad, the questions are not on concepts you likely have in your back pocket (unless you’ve already studied up on things like escape ramps and how long it takes a trailer to cross railroad tracks). What you’ll want to do is get ahold of an official Texas Commercial Driver’s Manual and then experience as many of our CDL General Knowledge practice tests as it takes until you are confident you have the answers you need. Our practice exams will show you exactly how the facts in the manual are positioned in the question format. If you are acing these exams you will pass the test easily. Then, you also need to make sure you have documentation in order. First you’ll want to take care of a Medical Examiner’s certification. Also known as a DOT card, this proves that you are physically qualified to drive a commercial vehicle in the state of Texas. Then you’ll want to present that at the DMV along with your current valid driver’s license and proof of citizenship or permanent legal status. With all this together and the knowledge you’ve built up from practice tests you should have everything you need to get in and out of the DMV in one blissful trip.
