Everything’s bigger in Texas, and that includes all the great job opportunities that open up for you when you add the Passenger P Endorsement to your commercial driver’s license (CDL). From Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, Corpus Christi, the Rio Grande Valley, you can transport passengers in the state’s college towns or rural communities, or on airport routes, convention shuttles, charter buses, church trips, casino and resort transportation, public transit, senior transportation, paratransit, school transportation networks, and more! The Lone Star State needs passenger-endorsed drivers who can transport people safely, and it expects them to be well prepared for that responsibility. To obtain this endorsement, you must pass (with a minimum score of 80%) the Texas DMV Passenger Knowledge Test as well as a three-part Skills Test in a representative vehicle. Once you start digging into the material needed for the test, you might start feeling a bit overwhelmed. Don’t fret. Our Texas DMV CDL Passenger Endorsement Practice Tests have all of your bases covered.

Our experts have taken the guesswork out of what to study and removed any fluff from the material to get you straight to what really matters. Our AI-powered, interactive practice tests feature an end-of-session review that highlights any weak areas that need further study. Our practice tests also feature a Challenge Bank™ that redistributes any questions you miss until you answer them correctly, so you can be certain you are fully prepared. Crafted to mirror the official exam’s format and often-tricky wording, our practice tests help ensure you pass the official exam on your first attempt. Ace this one and try another: https://driving-tests.org/texas/tx-cdl-passenger-vehicles-practice-test/.

If you plan to drive a commercial motor vehicle designed to transport 16 or more people, including the driver, you must obtain the Passenger "P" endorsement. Be prepared to learn all you’ll need to know about inspecting the brakes, steering components, lights and reflectors, tires, horn, windshield wipers, mirrors, coupling devices when present, and emergency equipment. That’s not all. You’ll learn how to inspect the inside of the bus, carefully looking at aisles and stairwells that must remain clear, handholds and railings, emergency-exit handles, and more. You’ll need to supervise passengers while continuing to watch traffic, use mirrors, manage space, and recognize hazards. A lot is expected, but our preparatory materials are more than enough to get you ready.
