- Perfect for first-time and renewal CDL/CLP applicants, and those adding endorsements
- Based on 2025 WY commercial driver's license manual
- Triple-checked for accuracy
- Updated for September 2025
Welcome to the Equality State, where the diversity of wide open roads and mountainous terrain makes Wyoming a prime location for commercial drivers. Adding the Doubles/Triples (T) Endorsement to your Wyoming Class A CDL qualifies you to legally operate double and triple trailer combinations, opening up access to more opportunities and higher-paying jobs on I-80, I-25, and I-90.
To legally haul doubles or triples, you must pass the Doubles and Triples (T) Knowledge Test, which adds the T Endorsement to your CDL. According to the Wyoming CDL Manual, this exam includes 20 multiple-choice questions, and you must answer at least 16 correctly (80%) to pass. If you fail, Wyoming DOT requires you to wait at least one business day before retesting. Additional fees apply after multiple failed attempts.
Our Wyoming-specific CDL Doubles and Triples (T) Practice Tests are designed to mirror the official DOT format and include real-time feedback, hints to help you navigate to the correct answer, and AI-enhanced study tools. These features increase your retention of material and speed the learning process, helping to ensure you pass the official exam on your first attempt. Our method has been scientifically proven superior to the standard study guides available elsewhere.
Our practice materials are based on the most recent Wyoming CDL Manual and cover coupling and uncoupling trailers, preventing jackknifing and rollovers, handling “crack-the-whip” effects, extending following distances, and full trailer inspections. All of these topics are covered in our practice tests!
Most double and triple trailers use air brakes, so it’s necessary to pass the Air Brakes Knowledge Test and a skills test in a vehicle with air brakes. Doing so removes the “L” or “Z” air brake restriction from your license. With that restriction in place, you won’t be able to drive doubles and triples. Not ready for this knowledge exam? Don’t worry! We’ve got Wyoming-specific Air Brakes practice tests too!
In addition to the T Endorsement, Wyoming CDL drivers can pursue other endorsements, including N (Tank Vehicles), H (Hazardous Materials), X (Tank + Hazmat Combo), P (Passenger Transport), and S (School Bus Operation). For each endorsement, we offer free Wyoming practice tests.
This practice test is Test 2 in our two-part Wyoming Doubles and Triples series. Pair this with Test 1 and other endorsement practice tests to ensure you pass the official exams. Then you can quickly get on the road with your newly-achieved highly marketable qualifications!
