Wyoming CDL Class A Practice Test 2025

Avg. pass rate on our WY tests: 60%.

Wyoming provides some of the most scenic and challenging driving conditions for commercial drivers. From the wide plains in the eastern part of the state to the mountainous terrain near the Rockies, you will drive through varied landscapes that require skill and focus. Before taking the driver’s seat of a heavy semi-truck, you must complete the licensing process and get a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). A minimum score of 80% on the official general knowledge test is required to earn your Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP). You must also submit identification documents, pay the licensing fees, pass a vision screening, and complete a medical examination (unless you qualify for an exemption).

Applicants interested in a Class A CDL must also pass the official combination vehicles knowledge exam. Since most trucks in Wyoming are equipped with air brakes, you must also pass the official air brakes knowledge test to drive them. All knowledge tests are based on the official Wyoming Commercial Driver License Manual (Wyoming CDL Handbook 2025), which you should read multiple times during your learning phase.

About the Wyoming CDL

Our Wyoming CDL Class A Practice Test is designed to help you prepare for these exams. It includes 93 multiple-choice questions and several features. There is no timer, allowing you to complete each session at your own pace. If you often study in crowded environments or prefer auditory learning, our voice-over feature can significantly boost your learning potential. You can activate it from the test settings menu, which can be accessed by clicking the three dots in the top-right corner of the page. Once you activate this function, an artificial voice will read the questions and answer choices aloud.

Your personal Challenge Bank™ stores all the questions you get wrong. We recommend visiting this section at the end of a study session to learn from your mistakes and identify areas that need improvement. Pay attention to the detailed explanations and note them in a notebook or notebook app for future reference. Keep in mind that questions in your Challenge Bank will remain there until you answer them correctly.

Mastering commercial driving theory takes time and consistent effort. When used regularly, our Wyoming CDL Class A Practice Test ensures you build the necessary knowledge for a successful career.
