The Cowboy State, the Suffrage State, the Sagebrush State, the Equality State. With so many nicknames and so much personality, Wyoming is a great place for CDL holders to expand their career options. If you are considering becoming a school bus driver, you’ll need to earn both a School Bus "S" Endorsement and the Passenger "P" Endorsement. To pass the required endorsement knowledge exams, you’ll need to attain a minimum score of 80% on each one (and meet other federal, state, and local requirements, including passing the Skills Test in a school bus). Our content experts have created a state-specific series of materials that cuts through the fluff and provides you with the content needed to prepare and pass your official exams on the first attempt. Our Wyoming CDL School Bus "S" Endorsement Knowledge Practice Tests are interactive, which makes all the difference in the world when it comes to learning material on a deep conceptual level. You’ll find that the official exams require this level of understanding, and outdated study guides and static pdfs do not satisfy this need. Our practice tests feature AI-powered responses to each question and a Challenge Bank™ that repeats delivery of questions that you missed until you no longer miss them! This style of delivery helps ensure you have all the material learned and will encounter no surprises while taking the official exam.
The official endorsement exam focuses on student safety. You are expected to understand the protocol for loading and unloading, including managing the "danger zones" around the bus where students are most vulnerable. Your understanding of mirror usage, constant scanning, and maintaining full visibility of students before, during, and after stops is also tested. The exam also evaluates your understanding of how to position and secure the bus, ensure safe crossing procedures, and prevent hazards such as loose clothing or backpacks from becoming caught in doors or handrails. You must also be prepared for questions on railroad crossing protocols, evacuation procedures, student management, and post-trip inspections. Our practice tests cover all of this and take the guesswork out of your preparations. Once you ace this practice test, try another: https://driving-tests.org/wyoming/wy-cdl-school-bus-practice-test/.
A school bus is classified as a passenger vehicle. As such, the Passenger Endorsement is required. We have practice tests for that, too: https://driving-tests.org/wyoming/wy-cdl-passenger-vehicles-practice-test/.
