- Perfect for first-time and renewal CDL/CLP applicants, and those adding endorsements
- Based on 2025 GA commercial driver's license manual
- Triple-checked for accuracy
- Updated for September 2025
Did you know that in Georgia, aspiring commercial drivers must pass a vision screening with at least 20/40 acuity in each eye? Before you can haul cargo or transport passengers across the Peach State, you must demonstrate that you are prepared for the demands of this job. In addition to the vision test, you must pass a DOT medical exam to engage in non-excepted commerce. Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) is a federal requirement mandated by FMCSA in all US states and the District of Columbia. This training covers essential topics, ensuring you’re prepared for both the CDL skills tests and real-world driving situations. You must get your ELDT from a provider listed in FMCSA’s Training Provider Registry (TPR).
The official general knowledge exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions based on the official Georgia Commercial Driver’s Study Guide (Georgia CDL Handbook 2025). You must score 80% or higher to advance in the licensing process and get your Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP). Our Georgia CDL Class B Practice Test can help you achieve a passing score on your first attempt. When used regularly, this intuitive tool gives you a significant advantage.
