Free IN CDL Passenger Vehicles Practice Test 2025

  • Perfect for first-time and renewal CDL/CLP applicants, and those adding endorsements
  • Based on 2025 IN commercial driver's license manual
  • Triple-checked for accuracy
  • Updated for September 2025

Why should Indiana residents be interested in becoming licensed CDL Passenger Vehicle drivers? There are a variety of positions available for properly licensed individuals. Airports, hotels, municipalities, and private coach companies are just a few of the potential employers who may be looking for someone like you.

Getting your foot in the door begins with you earning a Class A, B, or C Indiana Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). More specifically, it will be necessary for you to earn a ‘P’ endorsement on your Indiana CDL for you to operate a vehicle that can carry 16 or more passengers, including the driver. Two different types of tests, a written knowledge test and a road skills test in a passenger-carrying vehicle like the one you plan to operate, must be passed to obtain this endorsement. The written exam covers Driving Safely, Transporting Passengers Safely, Vehicle Inspection, and Basic Vehicle Control Skills. To receive a passing score, applicants must answer 16 out of 20 (80%) questions correctly.

This free Indiana CDL Passenger Vehicle Endorsement practice test, based on the 2025 CDL Manual (Indiana CDL Handbook 2025), is an expertly designed resource increasing your chance of passing your official written test on the first try. Our test has a multiple-choice format with questions like the ones you will see on the official test. The practice test is current as of September 2025. As you practice, you will experience a stress-free process allowing you to take your time to absorb the information. Additionally, you will receive immediate feedback on your answers, with the wrong ones being highlighted. Detailed explanations are provided to help you learn more about the questions you miss.

Pro Tip: When searching for test preparation materials, Indiana residents will find a plethora of resources from which to choose. However, if you are looking for honest guidance that would make your native son, Abraham Lincoln, proud, you should check out our on-line resources, handbooks, and CDL passenger guide.
