KS CDL General Knowledge Exam Simulator 2024

You are on a mission to get your Kansas state commercial driver’s license. Nothing can stop you. But there are a few things that can slow you down if you’re not careful. First of all, you’re mission is going to have a false start if you don’t have the right paperwork. Before you do anything else, you need to prove that you are physically qualified to drive a commercial vehicle. This can only be assessed is by a licensed medical examiner as listed on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Registry. The examiner will then provide you with a certificate (also known as a DOT card) that shows you have the physical endurance to work behind the wheel. When you present this at the DMV you’ll also need a couple of other pieces of identification. One is your current, valid, driver’s license and the other is proof of permanent legal residency or citizenship. Usually that means a social security card or birth certificate. Now you are ready to face the general knowledge test that allows you to earn your CDL. But are you really ready? The 50 question multiple-choice exam is rather tricky and requires that you study up on the official commercial drivers manual of Kansas. You only have one hour to answer at least 40 of the 50 questions correct. Get only 39 right and you’ve failed the test and will have to come back another day.
