Massachusetts CDL General Knowledge Test 11 2025

Updated for December 2025, this Massachusetts General Knowledge practice test contains another 50 questions based on the official CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) manual. You can use this test to prepare for the General Knowledge portion of the MA CDL exam. These questions are multiple-choice, with three possible answers for each question. Only one of those answers is correct. If you’re not sure about the correct answer, you can use the hint provided for each question. Each hint points you to the correct answer without giving away the correct answer itself. This should allow you to make an informed decision about the correct answer, even if you don’t actually know it. There is no time limit for completing this practice test. Every time you answer a question, you’ll get immediate feedback with a detailed explanation, so you won’t need to wait until the end of the test to know the correct answers.

Reading through the CDL manual is not enough. The questions and study material here are exactly what you need to know to pass the exams. Passed on the first try with combo and airbakes. My only regret is not taking all of the endorsements together!

I am not one of those people that can….
I am not one of those people that can open a book, read it and learn the material. I need hands on and repetition. This program is really fantastic in its design and I find myself not only learning, but having fun. My goal was to just learn the material and pass the tests, but I never thought I would enjoy the learning process. I find myself taking the quizzes over and over just to beat my last score, or get a perfect 100% I can now go take my CDL tests with confidence! I'm almost 60, I have not taken a "test" in a long time, my stress level went from 100% to almost nothing because I know I have really learned the material! I am even taking the tests for certifications I am not planning on getting because learning this way is so much fun!
