Already hold a Class A CDL? Take the next step by earning a T endorsement, which allows you to legally operate double or triple trailer combinations. To do this, you must pass the Double/Triple Trailers (T) Endorsement Test. The official Missouri exam consists of 20 multiple-choice questions. A passing score requires answering at least 16 correctly (80%). If you don’t pass, the Missouri State Highway Patrol (DOR) requires you to wait at least one business day before retesting. Additional fees may apply after multiple failures.
Our Free Missouri CDL Double/Triple Trailers (T) Endorsement Practice Tests are scientifically designed and mirror the actual DOR test format to help you pass on your first attempt. Real-time feedback, hints, and AI-powered learning tools make studying faster and far more effective than traditional methods like study guides.
All questions are based on the most recent Missouri CDL Manual. Topics include coupling and uncoupling of trailers, preventing jackknifing and rollovers, the importance of smooth steering (avoiding the “crack-the-whip” effect), maintaining safe following distances, applying correct braking techniques in longer combination vehicles, and performing inspections on all trailers. This just scratches the surface of what you must know to pass the exam. Take the guesswork out and allow our practice tests to fully prepare you for it.
Getting your T Endorsement in Missouri makes you instantly eligible for higher-paying jobs. With major freight routes along I-70, I-44, and I-55 and logistics hubs in St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, and Columbia, CDL drivers who hold the T endorsement are in constant demand. Top carriers like FedEx Freight, Old Dominion, and ABF frequently hire Missouri drivers with this credential.
Most double and triple trailer combinations use air brakes, so you’ll need to pass the Air Brakes Knowledge Test to remove the “L” restriction from your CDL. We offer practice tests for this requirement as well as for other Missouri-specific endorsements, including: N (Tank Vehicles), H (Hazardous Materials), X (Hazmat/Tanker Combo), P (Passenger Vehicles), and S (School Buses). We’ve got your prep work covered for these as well!
This practice test is Practice Test Two of our Missouri CDL Double/Triple Trailers series. Each is designed to speed your learning and help you pass the knowledge exam on your first attempt!
