MO CDL General Knowledge Exam Simulator 2024
There are several mistakes you can make that will end up sending you to the Missouri DOR on multiple days. Every day you go, means taking the time to wait in line, maybe a day off of work, it’s a hassle for sure. How to avoid it? First you have to make sure you have all your paperwork in order. The one that requires some serious forethought is the Medical Examiner’s Certificate (also known as DOT card). This is a certificate that signifies that you are physically qualified to drive a commercial vehicle. And you may not be able to get one from your general practitioner. In order to obtain the certificate, you will need to visit a licensed medical examiner listed on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Registry. Other paperwork you need to bring into the DOR include a valid driver’s license and proof of permanent residency. A birth certificate, social security card or green card are good options for this last piece of ID. Then (and only then) will you have the chance to face the General Knowledge test that assesses your readiness for driving a commercial vehicle. It’s 50 multiple-choice questions that must be answered in one hour. Get just 10 wrong and you will fail and have to return to the DOR another day. In order to avoid that you’ll want to study the Official Missouri Commercial Driver’s Manual and take as many practice tests as it takes for you to feel comfortable with the questions. Our CDL General Knowledge practice tests feature questions that are worded similarly, or in many cases identically, to the real thing. Plus hints and tracking features give you the confidence you need to succeed the first time. Start studying for your CDL today!
