NE CDL Double/Triple Trailers Practice Test 2 2025
5 min
Looking to expand your career and increase your earning potential? Adding the Doubles/Triples (T) Endorsement to your Nebraska Class A CDL is a powerful move. With this endorsement, you can legally operate double and triple trailer combinations, opening a vast new level of job opportunities. Once you’ve earned your Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) or Class A CDL, you’re eligible to take the Nebraska CDL Doubles/Triples (T) Endorsement Knowledge Test. This test is based on the state’s official CDL Manual. It contains DMV multiple-choice questions, and you must answer at least 16 correctly (80%) to pass. If you fail, the Nebraska DMV requires a minimum one-business-day waiting period before retesting. After multiple failures, additional fees may apply.
Based on the official NE CDL HandbookHandbook‑based (2025) + exam‑taker feedback
Our Free Nebraska CDL Doubles/Triples (T) Endorsement Knowledge Practice Tests are designed to simulate the structure and content of the official exam. You’ll get real-time feedback, hints to keep you on track, and AI-powered learning tools to help you retain more information at a much faster rate. Tested topics include coupling and uncoupling procedures, preventing jackknife and rollover, controlling the “crack-the-whip” effect, adjusting following distance, and inspecting combination trailers.
Endorsement in hand, Nebraska drivers can qualify for high-demand jobs with companies like FedEx Freight, Old Dominion, and XPO Logistics, which transport cargo on busy roadways like I-80, I‑76, and I‑680. Whether you’re hauling across the plains or through metro areas like Omaha, Lincoln, or Grand Island, a T Endorsement is a lucrative addition to your CDL.
Because most double and triple trailer combinations are equipped with air brakes, you must also pass the Air Brakes Knowledge Test. Additionally, the CDL skills test must be passed in an air brake-equipped vehicle. Once you’ve done these, the “L” or “Z” restriction is removed from your CDL. You’re not going to be driving doubles and triples until that test is passed, so check out our Air Brakes Practice Tests to prepare for that as well.
Nebraska CDL holders may also pursue additional lucrative endorsements, including N (Tank Vehicles), H (Hazardous Materials), X (Tank + Hazmat Combo), P (Passenger Vehicles), and S (School Bus Drivers). We offer Nebraska-specific practice exams for each of these.
This is Practice Test Two in our Nebraska Doubles/Triples series. Be sure to take Practice Test One and explore our full collection of Nebraska CDL practice tests!
