New Hampshire is famous for its natural beauty, offering unforgettable sights. The White Mountains offer scenic views to anyone brave enough to venture into the mountainous terrain, where roads can be challenging even for the most experienced drivers. During winter, the presence of black ice is a serious risk that causes many accidents. Students from all across the state rely on school buses for transportation to and from school, and parents can be assured that this is the safest choice for their children.
School buses are equipped with several unique safety features, such as a stop arm, high seats with padded backs, reinforced structure and emergency exits. School bus drivers undergo specialized training to qualify for this job. With such a high responsibility on their shoulders, these drivers are required to fully master the controls of their vehicles even during snowstorms.
To become a school bus driver in New Hampshire, one must go through a lengthy process that involves several steps. It all starts with the learning phase, where you’ll learn various aspects of commercial driving. All school bus drivers must complete an Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) course and obtain a School Bus (S) endorsement on their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). This endorsement is granted after passing a knowledge test as well as a skills test in a school bus (if you haven’t yet done so for your CDL). If the school bus you intend to drive is designed to carry 16 or more occupants, a Passenger Vehicles (P) endorsement is also required, and it can be obtained in a similar way.
We’ll help you pass the CDL School Bus knowledge test in New Hampshire as long as you’re willing to commit to this process with patience. Our New Hampshire CDL School Bus practice tests are based on the official 2025 CDL manual (New Hampshire CDL Handbook 2025) and they are updated for September 2025. Consisting of 20 questions about operating school buses, each practice test closely reflects the official knowledge exam, allowing students to simulate as many sessions as they want.
Several features will make your experience smoother, including a detailed explanation of the correct answer. Our automated assistant will provide immediate feedback after you make a choice, allowing you to understand its meaning.
