- Perfect for first-time and renewal CDL/CLP applicants, and those adding endorsements
- Based on 2025 OK commercial driver's license manual
- Triple-checked for accuracy
- Updated for September 2025
Ready to take your trucking career to a new level in the Sooner State? To increase your earning potential and expand your CDL opportunities in Oklahoma, earning the Doubles/Triples (T) Endorsement is a great idea. This endorsement allows you to legally haul double and triple trailer combinations, a high-demand skill across Oklahoma’s growing freight and logistics industry.
To qualify for the T Endorsement in Oklahoma, you must hold a Class A CDL, for which you must pass both the CDL General Knowledge and Combination Vehicles tests. You must then pass the Oklahoma CDL Doubles/Triples Test, which is based on Section 7 of the latest Oklahoma Commercial Driver License Manual.
The official test, administered by the DPS, includes 20 multiple-choice questions, and you must score at least 80% (16 correct answers) to pass. If you fail, you must wait at least one business day before retesting. After several failed attempts, additional fees may apply.
Our Free Oklahoma CDL Doubles/Triples Practice Tests are designed to go beyond standard study guides. They mirror the OklahomaDPS exam format and provide real-time feedback and AI-powered learning tools. These features significantly boost your retention and speed the learning process.
Topics covered include coupling and uncoupling multiple trailers, preventing rollovers and jackknifing, avoiding the “crack-the-whip” effect, maintaining proper following distances, and performing trailer inspections.
Thanks to Oklahoma’s major highways like I‑35, I‑40, and I‑44, the state is a central hub for freight carriers such as Old Dominion, XPO Logistics, FedEx Freight, and YRC. Many employers in the state specifically seek drivers with T endorsements. Whether you’re based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma City, or Muskogee, these qualifications are necessary to manage longer, more complex trailer configurations.
Most double- and triple-trailer vehicles are equipped with air brakes, so passing the Air Brakes Knowledge Test and completing a skills test in an air-brake-equipped vehicle is necessary to remove any “L” or “Z” brake restriction from your CDL. We have practice tests to help with that!
Stack your endorsements! Other endorsements available in Oklahoma include N (tank vehicles), H (hazardous materials), X (tanker/hazmat combo), P (passenger vehicles), and S (school bus). Use our custom Oklahoma-based practice tests to succeed on your first attempt!
Complete both of our Doubles/Triples practice tests and check out our additional restriction removal and added endorsement practice materials to fully prepare for a successful trucking career!
