Using our free South Carolina CDL Passenger Vehicle Endorsement practice test based on the 2025 CDL Manual (South Carolina CDL Handbook 2025), you have a starting point on the road to a new, exciting career. This test is an excellent resource to guide you through the process of adding a ‘P’ endorsement to your Class A, B, or C CDL license. This endorsement permits you to operate a vehicle that carries 16 or more passengers, including the driver.
Getting the endorsement is a two-step process. You will need to pass a Passenger knowledge test and a road skill test. The Passenger knowledge test concentrates on the CDL Manual sections pertaining to Driving Safely, Transporting Passengers Safely, Vehicle Inspection, and Basic Vehicle Control Skills. You must answer 80% of the 20 questions on the written knowledge test to receive a passing score.
