Updated for December 2025, this Tennessee General Knowledge practice test contains another 50 questions based on the official CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) manual. You can use this test to prepare for the General Knowledge portion of the TN CDL exam. These questions are multiple-choice, with three possible answers for each question. Only one of those answers is correct. If you’re not sure about the correct answer, you can use the hint provided for each question. Each hint points you to the correct answer without giving away the correct answer itself. This should allow you to make an informed decision about the correct answer, even if you don’t actually know it. There is no time limit for completing this practice test. First of all, the company was very honest and helpful with informing me about the program and how it works. The material was so straight forward that the only thing that I had to do was sit down and commit myself and learn everything. I enjoyed how the material was presented to me. It wasn’t just thrown together like some other schools do just to make a buck, this was presented in a step by step tutorial that it made the material easy and fun to learn. I’m just a regular guy.
I was skeptical about all those driving manual study guides, or the other web based tests. Driving-tests helped me pass my class A CDL permit test and get an endorsement. It is clean and simple to use. Honestly I will use them again when I choose to get another endorsement.

Good experience.
Good experience, general tests involve mixing A and B together but I’d guess that’s true everywhere. (Am learning for exclusively B.) In depth involved useful, I’d recommend. My best wishes to the company hope they continue in business. Also got the school bus and passenger endorsement ELDT. Over 600 questions 11 hours of video for the general CDL training alone. If you don’t know where to start this might be a good place.
