Becoming a commercial driver in Tennessee is a long and difficult process, but you’ll be rewarded with plenty of opportunities once you hold a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). The DMV requires all applicants to pass a 50-question knowledge exam on safe driving practices, vehicle inspections, and traffic laws.
