There is so much beauty to behold as you drive through the Green Mountain State. Not just from the gorgeous surroundings, but also from the people of the state and those who visit. What better way to immerse yourself in all of this than to add the Passenger Endorsement to your commercial driver’s license (CDL)! With that endorsement in place, you open a world of new opportunities within the passenger transport industry. Whether you’re driving in Burlington, Montpelier, Rutland, Brattleboro, Stowe, Killington, Woodstock, the Northeast Kingdom, or the Lake Champlain communities, you can find great jobs working in ski areas or college towns, or on airport routes, charter trips, church outings, senior transportation events, paratransit, and more. If this sounds great to you, and you plan to transport 16 or more people, including yourself, you’ll need to pass the Vermont DMV CDL Passenger Transport Knowledge Test (among other requirements). Our Vermont DMV CDL Passenger Endorsement Practice Tests are designed to help you pass the official exam on your first attempt.
Our Endorsement Practice Tests help you focus on the official material without becoming overwhelmed by the full CDL manual. Our experts have removed any fluff so you can focus on what truly matters for the official test. With our materials, you can work with multiple-choice questions (the format used on the official exam) and review explanations that help reinforce the material. Our end-of-session reviews identify weak areas, and our AI-powered Challenge Bank™ revisits missed questions until you answer them correctly. You must also pass the Skills Test in a passenger vehicle that represents the class of vehicles you intend to operate. The Passenger endorsement can apply to Class A, Class B, or Class C buses. Also, since many passenger vehicles use air brakes, particularly transit buses, motorcoaches, larger charter buses, and ski or tourism shuttles, you must pass the Air Brakes Knowledge Test and the Skills Test in an air brake-equipped Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV). Doing so removes the air brake restriction from your CDL so that you can legally operate CMVs equipped with air brakes. The Passenger endorsement exam covers a wide variety of safety topics, from pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to its passenger compartment. You’ll be surprised by how much material you’ll need to know. Get started today!
