Yes. We’re an official FMCSA-approved ELDT theory training provider listed in the Training Provider Registry (TPR). Our theory program fully complies with ELDT requirements and we report your completion to TPR automatically. Learn more.
Do I need ELDT for this route?
Yes for first-time Class A/B applicants. ELDT theory must be completed before the skills test (not before the knowledge test). Renewals or state-to-state transfers usually don’t require ELDT again. Behind-the-wheel is done with a local provider.
Do I need ELDT for HazMat?
Yes for first-time HazMat adds. HazMat ELDT theory must be completed before the HazMat knowledge test. Renewals or transfers with HazMat already on the CDL usually don't need ELDT again. TSA Security Threat Assessment is separate - this is a government background check process that can take 30-60 days. Start your TSA application in parallel with your ELDT training.
Do I need ELDT for Passenger/School Bus?
Yes for first-time P/S adds. Complete ELDT theory before the skills test (BTW training is done with a local provider). Renewals/transfers typically don’t require ELDT again.
