The Commercial Driver’s License Manual (Oklahoma CDL Handbook 2026) is an official resource published by the DPS. Section 6 teaches you everything you need to know to safely operate combination vehicles. You will learn how to prevent skids and jackknives, coupling and uncoupling procedures, and pre-trip inspections specific to combination vehicles. We recommend reading this section multiple times during your learning phase.
It is perfectly normal to make mistakes, especially during your first few attempts.
