To legally ride a motorcycle in Maine, you’ll need to obtain either a Class M motorcycle license or a Class C driver’s license with a motorcycle endorsement. All aspiring riders must complete an approved Basic Rider Course during the licensing process. After finishing this 15-hour course, they will receive a waiver for the skills test and the written knowledge exam. If you don’t complete the safety course, you must pass both the official Motorcycle Knowledge Test and the on-cycle skills exam at a DMV location.
This Maine DMV Motorcycle Practice Test is the second of five we offer. When used regularly, it can significantly boost your learning potential. Train with it daily to increase your chances of achieving a passing score on your first attempt. All questions on this practice test are based on the official Motorcycle Operator Manual (Maine Motorcycle Manual). Each question has multiple answer choices, but only one is correct. Take as long as you need before you select an answer; many of our practice tests are untimed, including this one.
It is crucial to avoid rushing, as doing so will cause you to make avoidable mistakes. On exam day, you’ll need to answer at least 80% of the questions correctly. Your mistakes become learning opportunities during your learning phase, and we’ll help you identify them as soon as they occur. Immediate feedback is provided for each question. Please pay attention to this explanation and note it in a notebook or notebook app for future reference.
Questions you answer incorrectly will be automatically added to your personal Challenge Bank™. You can go back and practice with them at the end of your study sessions. Keep practicing until you answer each question correctly and improve your knowledge through active learning. Users with Premium can use the bookmark icon in the top-right corner of the page to add any question to their Challenge Bank.
Level up your test prep with our Free Maine DMV Motorcycle Practice Test. Train with it as often as your schedule allows and build a strong foundation for your riding skills. Within a few weeks, you’ll be ready to ace the official written knowledge exam on your first attempt. Good luck!
