Do you often get anxious before taking an exam? Perhaps you’ve studied and prepared in advance but still get overwhelmed as the exam day approaches. Even the smartest students struggle with such issues, so there’s nothing to be ashamed of. You can achieve any goal through consistency and perseverance, qualities adopted by the most successful people in the world. Although riding a motorcycle is not rocket science, we understand that beginners unfamiliar with this subject might be nervous about the licensing process. Our Kansas DMV motorcycle permit practice tests are the solution for successfully passing the official motorcycle knowledge test on your first attempt.

Each practice test has been designed to closely reflect the content and format of the official exam. There are 20 multiple-choice questions based on the official DMV motorcycle operator manual (Kansas Motorcycle Manual). To pass, you must score at least 80%.

Start today and train with this intuitive tool as often as your schedule allows. Replace anxiety with confidence through regular practice. Avoid rushing through your training sessions. For your convenience, we have omitted any timer from our practice tests so you can study at your own pace. Mastering every aspect of riding theory takes time. As you get started, we recommend ignoring the score during your first few attempts. Mistakes are a normal part of learning, and you shouldn’t let them discourage you. We point out your mistakes as soon as they occur, so you won’t have to wait until the end of the test to know what went wrong. One of our most notable features is immediate feedback, which is provided along with a detailed explanation of the correct answer. Thanks to this function, our KS DMV motorcycle permit practice tests can also be used as an educational resource by students who seek alternatives to the official motorcycle operator manual.

The most determined students will always use all the study resources available to them. However, it is important to remember that passing the official exam is not a final goal. Our practice tests help you become a safe and responsible rider on Kansas’s roads, ensuring you are prepared to handle all sorts of riding challenges.

Kansas motorcycle rules to know

Rules that are specific to Kansas or often differ from other states

Eye protection rule

Wearing a face shield on a motorcycle is the best form of face and eye protection because it protects your whole face and will not fly off in the wind. Kansas state law requires every passenger under the age of 18 to wear some form of eye protection (goggles, face shields, etc.).

Lane splitting or filtering

Riding between lanes of traffic can be dangerous. A motorcycle should never be ridden between lanes of traffic, even if there seems to be room.

Passenger equipment rule

To carry a passenger, the motorcycle must have enough seat room and a set of footrests for the passenger.
