Are you ready to become a licensed rider? You must pass several theory and skills exams, complete a rider education course, and meet several other requirements. If you want to practice riding before taking the rider course, you can apply for a learner’s permit. To obtain this permit, you must be at least 16, have a valid driver’s license, pass the official Motorcycle Knowledge Exam, and pass a vision screening. Once obtained, the learner’s permit allows you to operate a motorcycle in daylight hours under the supervision of a rider aged 21 or older.

We’ll help you master riding theory by providing you with access to an intuitive tool. Our Oregon DMV Motorcycle Permit Practice Test is the solution to your study needs. Designed to boost your learning potential, this practice test will teach you riding theory through active learning. Use it alongside the official Motorcycle & Moped Manual (Oregon Motorcycle Manual) and shorten the time it takes for you to master this subject.

The official Motorcycle Knowledge Exam includes 35 multiple-choice questions. You must score 80% or higher to pass, leaving little room for error. We will help you pass this exam on your first attempt, but you must put in the time and effort to master riding theory. Keep track of your scores and watch your performance improve over the following weeks. Once you consistently achieve scores above 90%, consider taking the official written knowledge test.

"Officer Frank," your automated assistant, will be present during your training sessions. He can provide hints, real-life examples, and useful insight. Initiate a conversation with him if you require assistance and get personalized, on-demand help. It’s easier to master riding theory when you have the best resources at your disposal.

Incorporate our Oregon DMV Motorcycle Permit Practice Test into your study routine. Use this tool to build a strong foundation for your riding skills. Continue your education even after passing the official Motorcycle Knowledge Exam, and retake our practice tests regularly.
