Updated for December 2025, this Ohio General Knowledge practice test contains another 50 questions based on the official CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) manual. You can use this test to prepare for the General Knowledge portion of the OH CDL exam. These questions are multiple-choice, with three possible answers for each question. Only one of those answers is correct. If you’re not sure about the correct answer, you can use the hint provided for each question. Each hint points you to the correct answer without giving away the correct answer itself. This should allow you to make an informed decision about the correct answer, even if you don’t actually know it. There is no time limit for completing this practice test. Every time you answer a question, you’ll get immediate feedback with a detailed explanation, so you won’t need to wait until the end of the test to know the correct answers.

I am currently working in fla. and with my new job I needed my hazmat and tanker endorsement so when I went home to visit I only had a week to get everything done including my tanker and hasmat. I got my tanker endorsement with no problem. that left me with the hazmat certification testing and background chk to do with only a few days left. thankfully I found this and did my certification and kept studying did the course and back ground chk and I went straight to the bmv feeling good I went in took the test I was done in less than 10 mins 100% I couldn't believe it every question was in program. finished my visit with my family with 3 days left and no stress. thank you I couldn't have passed it with out this program

I downloaded the program, I did the learning modules, and then did all the tests and everything, and I finished up today. As soon as they said that I was able to go to the DMV, I left my house, went and took my test, and passed it on the first try! All the questions that were on the program, the practice tests, all that stuff, they were all on there. It was only like maybe two questions that weren't on there, but I just skipped those and went ahead and kept answering all the questions that I knew, and I passed with a perfect explorer. First try. This program is awesome.

1 weekend, 3 endorsements, all aced.
Studied over the weekend to pass 3 cdl endorsements on Monday. The practice tests made the actual exam questions plenty familiar. The change in wording of the final exam Simulations from the practice ones helped me retain the information in different forms so that the real deal wouldn't fool me out of questions that I knew the answers to. All in all, I didn't het a perfect score but not a bad one either; passed them all at once.

Hazmat endorsement.
Brought the hazmat eldt and it was really helpful. Things I knew but it was also a lot of things I didn’t know. I’m prepared to take my knowledge test. Definitely will use again for future cdl class A endorsements. 5 stars
