WA CDL General Knowledge Exam Simulator 2025
Before obtaining a Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) in Washington, all aspiring commercial drivers must pay the license fees, pass a vision test, undergo a medical exam, provide the necessary documentation, and pass a 50-question CDL General Knowledge exam. All questions are based on the official Washington commercial driver guide (Washington CDL Handbook 2025), which you should read at least once. It contains important information on the various aspects of commercial driving theory, including pre-trip inspections, safe driving practices, air brakes, and transportation of hazardous materials. After holding a CLP for 14 days and completing Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) from a registered training provider, you can take the CDL skills test.
