Arkansas DMV Permit Practice Test Four 2025
In Arkansas, all new drivers, regardless of age, must obtain an instruction permit to practice supervised driving before they can take the skills (road) test for a driver’s license. The requirements for obtaining an instruction permit include being at least 14 years old, passing a vision test, and passing an official knowledge (written) test on driving theory. You must take the written knowledge test at an Arkansas State Police Driver Testing Center, not online. If you’re under 18, you must also submit proof of school enrollment and obtain consent from a parent or guardian.
The knowledge test has 25 multiple-choice questions based on the official driver’s manual (Arkansas DMV Handbook (AR Driver's Manual) 2025). The passing score is 80%.
This is our fourth Arkansas Permit Practice Test. All our permit practice tests have been designed to help aspiring drivers like you pass the DMV knowledge test. These practice tests are also based on the official Arkansas driver’s manual. All practice questions are multiple choice. You must choose the best or most complete answer for each question.
Feel free to ask our AI Assistant for help with any practice question. You can ask it for a hint or a clarification. If you still miss the question, the AI assistant will give you the correct answer and an explanation of it.
We can’t give you a PDF list of the exact Arkansas permit test questions and answers you’ll encounter on your knowledge (written) test. To create a knowledge test, the DMV draws questions randomly from an extensive database of available questions, so we can’t predict the exact questions you’ll face. However, our practice test questions have proven to be a good match to the knowledge questions that have appeared in the past. Also, we do have two PDF “cheat sheets” (i.e., quick references, not for actual cheating!) that you can download: “The Top 100 Most Common US DMV Questions” and “The 121 Most Common US Road Signs Questions.” You will likely encounter at least some of these questions on your knowledge test. The correct answer is provided for each question listed.
Where can you drive once you obtain an unrestricted Class D license? You might enjoy a scenic drive on Scenic Highway 7 through the Ouachita Mountains and the Ozark National Forest. Or take Highway 65 to the Buffalo National River and go canoeing or kayaking. Or explore the vibrant nightlife of Little Rock or Fayetteville. Or of course, commute to work in the comfort and convenience of your own car. As tens of millions of American drivers already know, your driver’s license is your ticket to freedom and access.
