South Dakota Permit Practice Test Four 2026
Perfect for:Learner’s permit applicants
First‑time adult applicants
You probably have various plastic cards in your wallet. Some are credit cards. Others indicate memberships in organizations. But there’s one more you should have. It will let you legally drive a car to commute to work, a pickup truck or small van as part of your job or business, and an RV on your next vacation. It’s even widely honored as a legal means of identification. It’s a (noncommercial) driver license. This is our South Dakota Permit Practice Test. We carefully designed it to help you pass the official South Dakota DMV knowledge test on your first try. The knowledge test is one of the three official tests you must pass before you can become eligible for a driver license. All questions on the knowledge test are based on the official South Dakota driver’s manual (South Dakota DMV Handbook (SD Driver's Manual) 2026).
Like the official knowledge test and our first three permit practice tests, this practice test is multiple choice, its passing score is 80%, and it’s based on the official driver’s manual. Each question comes with four answer options. You must choose the best or most complete answer. If you need help, call on our AI Assistant. It can supply hints and explanations and answer your own questions about driving theory. If you’re disappointed by your final score, you can retake this practice test as often as you wish until your final score is excellent. Each time, the questions will be randomized.
