Hawaii DMV Signs & Road Situations Practice Test 2024 | HI
The Hawaii knowledge test for your permit or license consists of 30 multiple-choice questions based on the 2024 Hawaii Drivers Manual. You’ll need to answer at least 25 of the 30 questions correctly to pass the test. This DMV practice test, focused on road signs and situations, will allow you to study for an important part of the knowledge exam. Road signs and situations involve recognition of road signage, right of way rules, blinker usage, and other situations you may encounter while driving. Once you’ve passed your knowledge test to get your permit, you’ll need to provide your birth certificate, social security card, and signed parental consent from both parents if you’re still a minor. You’ll also need to pay a $2 written test fee, $10 if you opted for the oral version, $5-10 for your permit or license (the amount varies depending on location), take a vision test, and be fingerprinted. You’ll need to hold your permit for 180 days while you take a driver education course and perform at least 50 hours of supervised driving before you can take your road test.
