Perfect for:Learner’s permit applicants

In Nevada, you must pass three official tests (and meet some other requirements) to obtain driving privileges: a vision test, a knowledge test on driving theory, and a skills (road) test. The vision and knowledge tests are also required for an instruction permit to practice driving under supervision. You may take the knowledge test online or at a DMV office. If you are under 18, you must obtain an instruction permit before taking the skills test. An instruction permit is not required if you’re at least 18 years old, but you can get one to practice supervised driving if you need to. If you choose not to obtain a permit, you cannot drive until you pass the skills test.
Here is our Nevada Permit Practice Test. Its purpose is to help aspiring drivers like you pass the DMV knowledge test. Just like the official knowledge test, this practice test is based on the Nevada DMV driver’s manual (Nevada DMV Handbook (NV Driver's Manual) 2026).
