Free NH DMV Diagnostic Test 2025

  • Perfect for learner’s permit, driver’s license, and senior refresher test.

“Live Free or Die” takes on a whole new meaning when you’re burning up with cabin fever. However, if you are going to live it cruising the public roads without a New Hampshire driver’s license, you won’t be feeling very rye and pumpkin pie. If you’re ready to start living your best life, a step in the right direction is learning the rules of the road.

While you may already know some traffic laws and safe driving habits, you will need to go a little further than learning the basics. New Hampshire requires you to answer 80% of the 40 questions on the official knowledge test correctly to receive a passing score. If you fail to achieve this score, the test will abruptly end as soon as you miss 20% of the questions. How rude! Some of these questions are complex, challenging you to demonstrate your grasp of the test material. These questions may be written in a way that is confusing and offers answer choices that are hard to choose between. You need to find a way to keep these brain teasers from impacting your test performance.

Our free New Hampshire DMV Diagnostic Driving practice test is based on the most recent New Hampshire driver’s manual (New Hampshire DMV Handbook (NH Driver's Manual) 2025) and up to date as of October 2025. There are 15 questions on the New Hampshire official knowledge test that most New Hampshirites commonly miss. If you think a study guide can throw you a lifeline to survive these questions, you’re likely going to sink. Study guides will only take you as far as telling you the correct answer to a question. The practice test teaches you the information needed to back up your answer. If you submit a wrong answer, the practice test will give you a detailed explanation of the correct one. Even more helpful, the questions on the practice test are just like the ones often missed. You will get a real feel for how the questions can trick you and be prepared to reason your way through your answers. Get on board with our practice test and leave behind the grind of traditional test preparation!

We know how Driver's Ed goes

The material is dry. Studying it is tedious. And you don't want to step foot inside the DMV. So you dread it, avoid it, pretend it doesn't exist. Or you go to the DMV and shoot your shot. You walk in. Take a number. Then the number takes your soul.

Noses sneeze. Babies cry. Frustration groans. And when it's finally time to take your test, you're sweating. Thirty minutes later, you're crying. Because despite your best efforts. You failed. Next thing you know, you're chasing a Waymo in circles to get home (embarrassing!).
That ends here.
At Driving Tests, we know emotions can get in the way of doing what you need to do. So we deliver Driver's Ed that makes it easy to start, and even easier to finish. We get you DMV Smart ASAP. Testing you with real, up-to-date questions. Backing up tricky driving situations with easy-to-grasp visuals & engaging practice tests that reaffirm what you know, and test you again on what you don't.
