Once you get a Wisconsin driver’s license, you’ll be able to drive yourself around Wisconsin for a change. But first, you must pass the vision, highway signs, and knowledge tests to be eligible for an instruction permit. If you fail, you won’t even be able to practice supervised driving. Unfortunately, failure happens more often than you might think. For example, in Wisconsin in 2016, 28% of applicants who took the knowledge test failed it.
