Welcome to our Nebraska Driver’s Handbook Practice Test, an intuitive tool designed to boost your learning potential. Use it to learn driving theory and prepare for the official written knowledge exam. It is available online, and you get nonstop access to practice as often as you want. All you need is a compatible device that is connected to the internet. You don’t need complex software; this practice test can be accessed on any browser.

We built the user interface with ease of use in mind. Users who are unskilled with computers can easily control this practice test. Complete each training session at your own pace and avoid rushing through the questions. Although the official exam will be timed, our practice test can be completed at a slower pace, allowing you to focus on learning the various aspects of driving theory. All 20 questions are based on the official Nebraska Driver’s Manual (Nebraska DMV Handbook (NE Driver's Manual) 2025), which you should read multiple times during your learning phase.

The voice-over function uses an artificial voice to read questions and answers aloud. This feature is especially useful if you prefer listening over reading or find yourself studying in busy environments where distractions are common. It also reduces eye fatigue if your screen time is high. If your wireless mouse runs out of battery charge again, you can finish an active practice session using your keyboard. The complete list of keyboard shortcuts can be displayed by using the “Shift + ?” key combination.

About the Nebraska learner permit

Your knowledge can only be improved gradually, so you shouldn’t expect overnight results. As you begin your learning phase, it is crucial to avoid rushing. Think of each study session as a small step forward, not a race to the finish line. We recommend beginning your learning phase several weeks before taking the official written knowledge exam. During this time, you can use our Nebraska Driver’s Handbook Practice Test with the official driver’s manual to understand what it takes to become a safe and responsible driver.

We know what it takes to pass. And we’ve got the proof.

Driver’s Ed is - nobody wants to set foot inside the DMV. That’s why millions of learners trust us for simple, visual, effective prep.

An official & trusted partner in driver education

We are an officially recognized FMCSA Entry-Level Driver Training provider and a proud partner to over 2,500 libraries. We work with safety organizations like GHSA and the National Safety Council to help create safer roads for everyone.
