How to study (step by step)

  1. Start your application

    At age 15 or older, begin your application at a Service Oklahoma facility. (Parental/guardian consent required if under 18.)

  2. Take the Diagnostic Test

    Check your starting level before you practice in full sets.

  3. Practice Tests (At least 2–3 sets)

    Complete at least 2–3 sets. Short 10-minute sessions work best.

  4. Clear your mistakes

    Open the Challenge Bank and fix every missed question, then retry similar ones.

  5. Practice exam simulator

    Keep practicing until you’re consistently scoring 75% or higher.

OK DPS permit test - what to expect

The Oklahoma permit test has 20 questions. You must get 15 correct (75%) to pass.

Best practice driving test I’ve found!
I was under a lot of stress finding out I only had 2 weeks to transfer my license from another state. I searched several websites that had old outdated practice tests. I found driving-tests.org and it was a great experience: instead of just giving you the correct answer it went into detail as to why it was correct! If you missed a question it would automatically set it aside so you could go back and answer it again. With only studying a few days I was confident that I was going to pass and I did just that 1 week early whoop whoop!

I was able to pass on my first try thanks to driving-tests.org. There's a lot of practice tests that they offer that helped me understand what the actual test would be like. These tests are also harder than the actual DMV test so if you do well on them you will definitely pass.
