MA RMV permit test - what to expect
The Massachusetts permit test has 25 questions. You must get 18 correct (72%) to pass.
- Where: Any Massachusetts RMV office (find locations)
- Bring: ID + SSN + residency proof + permit/license fee (see checklist)
- If you fail: Retake after at least one day.
- Commonly missed: legal blood alcohol limits and DUI rules, emergency vehicle right-of-way.
