To get your permit and eventual driver’s license in Mississippi, you’ll first need to pass a written knowledge test. The exam consists of 30 multiple-choice questions based on the 2018 Mississippi Driver’s Manual. You’ll need to correctly answer at least 24 of the questions, assuring a score of 80% or higher to pass and earn your permit. At the DPS, you’ll need to take a vision test in addition to your written exam and provide the proper paperwork. You’ll be required to show proof of your identity, residence, and social security number, and minors will also have to show proof of school attendance and parental consent. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to take your test, all testing ends at 4 pm each day. This DPS practice test is a marathon test that contains all 150 of our practice test questions. They’re formatted just like the questions you’ll see on your official knowledge test, but they won’t end until you’ve answered all of them correctly.
